Adam Driver stars as a stand-up comedian who falls in love with a renowned opera singer played by Marion Cotillard. What follows is a tumultuous love affair and a baby daughter who may have an “exceptional destiny,” all set to songs written by Sparks, whose first single for the movie, titled “So May We Start,” can be heard throughout this trailer.

The second episode of Marvel’s What If…? follows in a similar fashion by turning the man who would become Black Panther into Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy. The late Chadwick Boseman reprised his role as T’Challa in what is now his final performance, but rather than becoming the leader of Wakanda, he’s kidnapped as a child by Yondu’s henchman and becomes one of the Ravagers. And instead of being a gang of thieves out to make quick cash, the presence of T’Challa in their lives has turned them into a band of Robin Hood-esque heroes who steal in order to help those who are less fortunate in the universe.[Enlace externo eliminado para invitados]

Speaking of hearts, Sylvie and Loki are together again. She and Mobius catch up with Loki after he’s convinced his other Variants to try to kill Alioth. Whoever is behind the guard dog is the one pulling all the timelines’ strings.

As we near the end of the season, with just four episodes left, this sets up a conflict that has the potential to be explosive in ways we can’t yet imagine.

It is a neo-noir, though, so it’s not all fun and games: people’s motivations and true feelings are eventually exposed, and the way Hoskins acts and reacts to these plot twists makes me wish I’d sought out his work in the gangster genre years ago.

The upcoming The Protégé is currently scheduled to release later this month exclusively in theaters.

Unfortunately, this teaser for Animaniacs season 2 doesn’t include any footage from the forthcoming new episodes. It merely uses footage of Wakko impatiently waiting for the second season of the animated series to load on his tablet. There’s a brief appearance by Pinky and the Brain and a clip of a press pool asking about the show’s second season before we get the release date of November 5. It’s just a couple of weeks earlier than last year’s premiere shortly before Thanksgiving.
